Artefill
is injected into the skin at the dermal/subdermal juncture
where your own collagen production begins.
 During the time the temporary
collagen component in Artefill breaks down, your skin's own

Artefill has an excellent
safety profile. The permanent ultra-smooth
microspheres - which make up about 20% of the product volume -
are made of polymethlymethacrylate (PMMA). PMMA has been
safely used in intraocular lens implants of the eye for
cataract surgery since the 1950's. It also has time -tested
applications in orthopedic surgery and dentistry.
These tiny
biocompatible microspheres stay
in the skin permanently, acting as a continuous catalyst and
